This Cabbage Stew is a very simple recipe but loaded with healthy and nutritious ingredients. Usually, a stew takes forever to make but this one is a simplified version that wouldn’t take your whole day. It can actually be made in less than an hour.

Basically, you just need to add all the ingredients one at a time and wait for it to be cooked. Perfect for those days when you feel lazy to spend much of your time preparing your meals. This can be served either lunch or dinner time.


Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 40 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

½ Pork Sausage, cut into rounds

½ small carrot, cut into rounds

2 tbsp. Leeks, cut into rounds

1 oz. chopped Tomatoes

5 oz. Cabbage, chopped

¼ cup Chicken Stock

1 Bay leaf

Black pepper and salt to taste

1 tbsp. Cooking Oil

 

Procedure:

  1. In a saucepan add cooking oil. chopped carrots.

2. Add chopped carrots.

3. Add leeks and cook for 5 minutes.

4. Now add sausages and cook until browned, 5 minutes.

5. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.

6. Add water.

7. Add chopped cabbage.

8. Simmer for 15 minutes.

9. Season with black pepper and salt. Add 1 bay leaf and stir.

10. Cook for 5 more minutes and serve.
