There are many ways to eat your greens and this is one of them. These lettuce wraps (or lettuce boats) are refreshingly good! Smoked salmon is excellently mixed with cream cheese, mayo, and dill with a hint of lemon. The salty and tangy flavor will get into your palates. It’s definitely irresistible! You can have it as a lunch meal or dinner meal.

As we always say, Salmon is one of the commonly used fish on keto. It’s loaded with nutritious goodness and definitely low in carbs so it will keep you on ketosis. You can make so many variations of a salmon dish, but this particular one is a unique surprise. The cream cheese mixture combined with salmon is truly gourmet! It sticks to the fish so well making it tastier.

What could be better than a fresh lettuce wrap with smoked salmon in it?


Preparation time: 10 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

For the Cream Cheese mixture:

  • 100 grams of Cream Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp fresh Dill, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 100 grams Smoked Salmon

For the lettuce wraps:

  • 25 grams Romaine Lettuce
  • Salt, to taste

 

Procedure:

  1. Prepare all the ingredients.

2. Place the cream cheese, mayonnaise and fresh dill in a bowl.

3. Squeeze lemon juice on the mixture.

4. Mix the mixture using spatula until well combined. Set aside.

5. Shred the smoked salmon.

6. Add the smoked salmon to the cream cheese mixture. Mix again until well combined.

7. Prepare the lettuce wraps.

8. Scoop the smoked salmon mixture over the lettuce wraps.

9. Season with salt and serve.
