This Quick Keto Cornbread that doesn’t have corn in it is just as good as the real one. It tastes wonderful and is a good choice for a snack. It’s a perfect substitute over the traditional cornbread, for those on a ketogenic diet.

We all know that eating bread is prohibited on keto. It has a high amount of carbs which makes it an unfriendly choice.  However, there are a lot of alternatives to every regular food. Even bread has other options so no need to panic! That is the good thing about the keto diet, you have lots of options so you wouldn’t even feel that you are on a diet.

This particular recipe is simple, quick to make and has only limited ingredients. Yet it’s very fluffy and doesn’t sacrifice the taste of the bread. It is cooked using a microwave but it still turned out good.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Almond Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Erythritol
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 2 tbsp Heavy Cream
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • pinch of Salt

 

Procedure:

  1. Stir together egg, heavy cream, melted butter, and erythritol.

2. Add in almond flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Mix well and set in the microwave for 2-3 minutes.
